Aw, poor little face! I never believe my daughter either, only because she tells me at least once a week that her throat hurts or something. When she’s up and playing, she’s not sick. If she were confined to a chair with kitty, then I’d reconsider.
I hope he feels better soon. Cat therapy can be very effective. Although it kind of looks like he’s sitting on her favorite chair and she’s just trying to make the best of the situation.
I see your cat is using percussion to help loosen mucous secretions in the little one’s lungs in order to get that kid back into school where he belongs. You’ve trained your cats well!

I do that to the bigger kids. Because guilt is the best tool a parent can have. Besides M&Ms which have their uses, too.

I know. I feel a little guilty for actually liking sick days, but we’ve been cuddled up watching movies all morning.

That was the only thing that stopped me short. His list of complaints were indicative of typhoid or e-bola, so I was not a believer until then.
