Squish has decided that Blossom the Brainless Cat is almost as good as having a little brother. And it’s the closest he will ever get. (Why do I hear God laughing every time I say something like that?)
Blossom has decided that it is fall, and Squish is warmer than the laminate flooring. It’s a match made in heaven. Or Purgatory. I’m not sure how long this will last.
They both look quite content, and dismissive of your attempts to break them up.
Sorry, is that a bean bag chair on top of the couch? I need one of those!!!
Helmet = Good, Socks and Sandles = BAD!
😉
Oh how I miss those days when my boys sat with their little thumbs in their mouths.Sweetness 🙂
Sandals with socks? Oh, Heather.
You have to explain the beanbag chair on the sofa, too! I am all for socks with sandals. I think they’re nerdy cool.
We dress Baguette in socks when she wears sandals. (a) the straps chafe her tiny feet, and (b) socks help keep her feet clean. I wouldn’t do it myself, but no biggie when it comes to kids.
I know all about that laugh from God. When I was 40, I had my last child. This happened because as a teen I stated (several times) that I was not having any children after the age of 40 (because of studies about increased birth defects at the time) and what ever I had by then God better be happy. So on my 40th birthday, I got pregnant. There might have been a lot of wine involved and a lice outbreak in the house requiring my husband to go through my very thick hair very carefully.
It is better to gear up and not need it than to find that you do need it when you bonk your head
He has worn it for three days straight. And now there are enough scuffs on the top that I’m wondering if his fashion sense has kept him out of the ER. Maybe he wears a helmet forever.
It’ll last as long as the cat wants it too…… at least that’s how things work in my house.
Exactly. When she’s done, they’re over.
Whatever makes the cat happy! 🙂
That’s pretty much how the world works.
Maybe he thought it looked like a pumpkin & was getting in the spirit for Halloween?
Could be. He hasn’t taken it off except for bath time in three days.
Our kitty sleeps in front of the heater vent. I bet she would like a Squish much better. 🙂
It’s like a heater with an attached massage unit.
Classic. Absolute, spontaneous giggle fit.
I love when our kitties lie on our kids’ laps. It doesn’t happen every day, but when it does, awwww. Like rainbows and unicorns happiness. There indeed has to be a level of brainlessness on the part of a cat who would hang out with a young child. I’m thinking of when I used to give my cats “rides” down the stairs in our laundry hamper as a kid.
