Nearly Wordless Wednesday: That’s Not Fair

I was making a Christmas scrapbook last week, and I came across this on the scrapbooking website:

That seems a little, well, Earthist.

That seems a little, well, Earthist.

Now I’m worried. When we colonize Mars, how will I get my scrapbooking needs met?

    • On a similar thought, the other day I was introduced to woot.com, the lovechild of Amazon…well, more like immaculate conception of Amazon. Here’s an excerpt from their shipping and return policy:

“Pay attention to the delivery estimate when choosing your shipping method for your orders. Pay attention, also, to the literal meaning of the word “estimate”.

“If you receive your item and it doesn’t work, contact the manufacturer first. They made the junk. Let them deal with it. If they turn out to be total tools, contact support@woot.com and we’ll grudgingly provide some further assistance.

“If you receive your item and decide you don’t like it, hold a garage sale or pawn it off on one of your so-called friends. We don’t want it, either.”

  1. *snerk!* I wonder if they’ve had a lot of requests from the Space Station? Sorry, astronauts–we know you’d like to be able to scrapbook up there, but we kind of haven’t invented an extra-terrestrial mail system yet.

A penny for your thoughts! And by penny, I mean a warm-fuzzy in your heart.
