So, there was this 600lb tortoise sitting on the hose.
Parked like a VW Beetle on the bale of hay I’m trying to spread.
I asked him to move. I asked nice. He said no.
What could I do?
Incidentally, this is reason 1,234 why I love my job.

Create a perfect scenario and what do you expect?! Hard life eh girl?
I know. It’s the toughest! 😀
Yep, I see him laughing at you in top photo 🙂 Laura
He’s definitely thumbing his nose at me. What a bad boy!
Oh how I particularly love your turtle and tortoise tales… hey, there’s a book title!
Gee, he does looks pretty possessive of that hose — like he is double daring you to try to take it back.
Oh what a lovely “problem” to have! TOO CUTE!
Ha! He just wanted to make sure you would stay and hang out longer.
He actually does that. He pins me in a corner from time to time because he wants his head scratched. I love that tortoise.
Such a cutie! Maybe a tad stubborn but when a tortoise grins into your face, you can forgive anything, right?! 🙂
I know. I can forgive him anything, and he knows it. We’ve been pals for over 20 years.
He looks ancient! And maybe wise? Maybe he wanted you to slow down.
At least the guy’s not in your laundry basket with the cat. What DO you do in a time like this?
