A garden hose is one of the tools I use daily. I have a tip you may not have heard from Lowe’s or The Home Depot.
A hose will work better and have greater water pressure if there is not a 523lb giant tortoise standing on it.

He looks pleased with himself, doesn’t he? It took 15 minutes of scratching his neck to get him to finally move. Every week, Al? Really?
You heard it here first.

Ha ha ha – a problem that not many of us will encounter!
Just me, then?
admit it, you enjoyed scratching his neck out in the sun. 😉
Every, single second of it!
I would have as well.
And he loves it, too. He knows how to get my attention.
This explains a lot about my recent water pressure readings.
I am glad I could be of help. Check for giant tortoises in the neighborhood. They’re sneaky.
You know, i bet that’s true.
It is. Trust me on this one.
Hahaha. I bet asking him to move didn’t work either.
I asked him repeatedly. He just smiled.
Maybe that’s just a turtle’s natural expression, but he does seem to have a bit of an “FU” look on his face.
He does, doesn’t he?
He is so funny. That is totally an all-knowing tortoise look. “I have derailed your day! Now you must hang with ME!”
I think he has learned he gets what he wants when he does that, and what he wants is my undivided attention.
ADORABLE! How does he do snuggling? Cause that’s what I want to do.
He tries to climb in my lap.
He is definitely grinning!!
Tortoise are all about water conservation. 🐢
That must be it.
